Kiss, Mucobron and the Elevator

My life right now has been filled with lots of things. Pressure, new friends at work, new lifestyle and culture, and new people whom I feel are deserving to be considered role models. Let's talk first about Kiss, the woman behind every agent's success in Convergys.

Kiss or Krst'll is one of a kind. If you see her at first, I assure you you'll dislike her to the highest level because of her arrogance, and toxic presence. Yes, she's VERY pretty and smart and she really pisses people with all her "ew" and "stuff like that" and most of the time, she gives rude comments to those who really need to be guided in the right direction. She's an A type person and very perfectionist which makes you feel uncomfortable. But what else do I forget? After all, as days passed, I discovered that she's a very nice person. I know for the fact that she's already offensive sometimes but if you just listen to what she says, "sticks and stones might break my bones but words like shit won't touch my whole." Words after all do not matter. Just believe in yourself and be open to correct your mistakes. This makes her an icon to me at the end of the day. You only meet her in CVG who strives for the company's excellence in the business arena. Go Kiss!

Yes, our training may be full of pressure but here are some things that add spice to my life. The story about Mucobron and the Elevator is only the same. It's just it only happens with different characters which turn the cake upside down. Well, my share about Mucobron started with my health condition at work. I've been sick of cough and flu for 8 days which forced me to visit twice our company clinic to take this tablet. Here's the good thing. Ang cute ni Nurse. Parang Indian na Arabo na Pinoy. Do you see the picture? Hahahaha... We know one of the challenges in this kind of job is to face boredom while repeating routines DAILY! Basically, at least I'm happy God provide me something that puts heat on my shoes and allows me to think why life is very wonderful and is something to live for. (I'll give you more details soonerrr!)

My elevator routine also makes me sick all the time since we're trained at 9th, check in at 11th, and take lunch at 12th floor. The clinic is even located at 11th floor and there are no other options but to ride in the elevator because the building doesn't have stairs. Foul ass. I saw this person and we used to ride together before our shift starts. For the first time, it forced me again to stare like hell and search for identities para ma add sa facebook. Bitch! haha.. That's just the bottomline but you know what, these events bring joy to me and at least encourage me not to think about missing home for as of this moment, I'm already starting to have a home in Cebu.

I am Back in Cebu: After 4 Years

"Eyeing Cebu, I miss you is not enough"
Dalipuga, Iligan City last June 2009

Twelve hours ago, I was on a plane bound for Cebu City when I realized what's happening to me had been predicted by a friend last June 2009. He told me I can't continue my studies for a reason. He told me I'll be back to the real world of what people should do in order to survive. (Well, it came true).

I was able to recall this moment when my flight became the worst travel I had on air. Strong turbulence. Bad weather in Misamis. God, I really felt my plane would be devoured by the Mother Earth or Neptune. So like what I always do when danger comes in, I prayed and asked forgiveness so hard. (I was so damn afraid, swear).

I am now billeted in Alicia Towers Banilad. And for those people who are not yet aware why I'm here, definitely, I'm back to work as an Associate of Convergys. I took my first journey in this city way back 4 years ago but as a student. My point here is that even if 4 years have already passed, it's still like it only happened two months ago. Time is so fast. I just wish I will still see those people whom I shared a golden moment with and if ever we'll meet, hope they never changed. To me, welcome back and I hope I'll be having a great life here.

STACEY and VERONIKA

LEGEND
USC - University of San Carlos

TC - Talamban Campus

CAFYA - Carolinian Academic Freshman of the Year Awardee

STACEY (left) and VERONIKA (right)

Once upon a time, somebody predicted that 2 of the loveliest and craziest creature on planet will be born in the beautiful year of 1987, the year where 2 gifted kids were baptized as STACEY and VERONIKA. Stacey grew up in the Durian City of Anti Drugs and Firecrackers while Veronika hailed from the City of Kuratong Wars and Instant Tragedies. These two angels have strong and very distinct personalities. But even if they never knew each other long before, something's inherent led them to a place where they should meet and perhaps become friends. First stop? USC-TC!

USC became their first molder. With Veronika as a Chemical Engineering student, Stacey pursued her dreams of becoming an adventurous lady in water jug at sea researcher or her course is Marine Biology. Since both colleges are really far from one another, one had no chance to say "hi Stacey, gwapa ka?" until Veronika noticed an image of Stacey posted in all bulletin boards in TC with an inscription at its bottom that says "CAFYA from the City of Durians, Banned Superlolo's, and Death Squad against Illegal Drug Accessories, please vote for her," =D Plus the academic and leadership achievements in high school. Veronika didn't have what Stacey acquired that time but mind you, it was the beginning of how they met and why.

Two years later. Both were not Carolinians anymore, and it's a different story which needs more space and time in this post. The bottom line is STACEY and VERONIKA were two of the unfortunate victims of College Assurance Plan. So, it was a goodbye San Carlos decision and welcome Mindanao State University! It's a blessing in disguise because at least, they met and became friends in Iligan City. Special thanks to their common friends and ex-classmates. How they met started with one their common friends telling VERONIKA that they have a very beautiful, sexy, marvelous and sophisticated type of bitch newcomer in IIT friend named STACEY. That she was an ex-Carolinian. That she was a CAFYA nominee (repeated more than 10 times in a conversation so that I would remember HER). When they met, they just laughed and as simple as yes, it's then a history.

Before I end this, please allow me to provide a clear characterization of STACEY and VERONIKA.

For STACEY

Stacey Domingo is the youngest among three sisters, and definitely has a talent in designing dresses and half baked photography unlike her eldest sibling. She was the best in Math during high school like RICA in PBB's latest edition and a happy-go-lucky friend to her neighbors in the City of Durian and Banned Firecrackers with a not that exciting New Year's eve. She likes boys perhaps and is very aggressive to her neighbors at home. She's also vocal and expressive especially in her underground escapades (i'm pretty sure she enjoyed her over the bakod and cogon grass research long time ago) and she's sure to what she believes. And there's one thing for sure, she's super galante, very loyal and a very generous daughter. Most importantly, she only loves one man on earth: Stephenson. You should know her for your benefit but by the way, let's go next to Veronika.

For VERONIKA

VERONIKA in her narcissa moments while DEBATING

Veronika Pelare is an anti thesis of Stacey. Veronika hates boys but loves underground by principle. So weird that she rarely engages in practice or by application. She's also the youngest in her family.: very sensitive, and enjoys debating in school. Veronika doesn't want to be provoked or mind you guys, she'll argue with you at different levels on different angles of issues. The reason why she's sometimes insecure and has this kind of personality is due to the fact that she's raised in the City of Kuratongs and Instant Hooked Ups of Life and Death. She personally witnessed some of the greatest crimes and disasters in the nation. Hope you also know that she was also a victim, echos. Anyway, Veronika (contrary to Paolo Coelho's famous novel about a woman named Veronika) never decides to die whether or not she has the biggest upset in life. That's not only the good thing of capital V, she's also generous (protectionism type) but not in the manner Stacey does (the open arms protocol).

Update: Stacey is now busy facilitating her Nature Seminar with Loren Legarda while Veronika is in CDO looking for someone who can mend her broken heart due to academics. But at least, Veronika is joining a party after 10 hours or less.

Disclaimer: The girls' pictures and the names used in the post are only borrowed from their dreams including the one Stacey loves (though factual in real life). The content of this article is purely rich with values and all you have to do is to figure them out, and believe it or not.

Marawi: it's all coming back to me now Part 1

This is MSU-Marawi, the cheapest university in the Philippines with a very high quality of education. I really love this school. In fact, I used to study here from year 2006 until 2009 where I stopped for a year. I miss this school. And FYI, it's really different from its sister school in Iligan City.

The very famous sleeping lady above is the greatest attraction in the campus. This is very significant in my life because she witnessed all the hardships and achievements that I got. I remember myself going alone in the library not to study but only to look at this majestic view just to remove stress. And now I understand why a lot of my teachers in its sister school always ask me about how this university does nowadays. In fact, their memories are still left behind in every corner of the campus especially in the PLH Dormitory and mind you, the golf course knows what they did in their years: dating, stargazing, reminiscing, whatever.

But as of this moment, you just don't know how I am right now. I don't really know what lies ahead given that I am not yet fixed. Not enrolled for sure... Please help me god.

Meeting the Y-Road

I was browsing my old friendster photos and found this very important picture of my existence. This was taken last March 2004 at the University of the Philippines Diliman when I attended the National Science Fair representing my beloved Region and high school alma mater. Of course, we didn't win but we penetrated the top 5 slots or finals which allowed us to grace our research defense and deprived other regions which didn't pass the preliminary national on-the-spot screening. The bottom line of this is we we're able to reach this level even without the support of our school. This was also very memorable to the three of us because at this stage, we decided to take science and technology based courses that will give us the wisdom to help shape the world. It was my turning path after realizing my craft was really designed for S and T. Thanks to my experience in UPD.. i miss u too mam dedeth...

HEROES

Heroes are well-respected and mostly known people in the society and they contributed so much to the lives of every individual. But I tell you, I have a different kind of hero. What makes him great and unique from others anyway? Let me tell you why I choose someone who is opposite from what a hero should be.
My hero is my virtual friend. We only met in a social networking site until we became schoolmates after a year. I considered him a hero because he is an open-minded person with average non discriminative reasons towards discreet queers. I believe that his

capability to understand how the world goes along with dynamism is the main reason why I stay to be his fan. He understands what I've been through and he criticizes my mistakes constructively. These turn my strengths and weaknesses to be kept in a progressive equilibrium. His ideas in sciences and engineering influence me to become a productive person that has no other negative thoughts. He teaches me how to be contended and to become happy for the rest of my life.
Even if we're not that close in person, still his influences and persona are credible already to me and to who he really is. I thank him for becoming part of my life as my hero from the darkness that I'd been through.
